I specialise in hand drawn original pieces of artwork, commissioned from photographs. I produce realistic Pet Portraits in graphite, and coloured pencil, both mediums allowing me the control I need for the my style of work. I have dogs of my own and appreciate the special friendship a dog can give. It is my mission to portray each subject's unique character.
The customer decided that she would have her Doberman portrait in coloured pencil, which was generally the unanimous vote from everyone asked! I started it yesterday, just the outline and the first layer of 'underpainting'. I will do some more to it over the weekend and will update you as I go. Here he is so far:
