I specialise in hand drawn original pieces of artwork, commissioned from photographs. I produce realistic Pet Portraits in graphite, and coloured pencil, both mediums allowing me the control I need for the my style of work. I have dogs of my own and appreciate the special friendship a dog can give. It is my mission to portray each subject's unique character.
As I said before, I am working on two graphite pieces along with my current two coloured pencil commissions. Today I have been working on a Bengal cat that is 12" x 16" in graphite pencil. I can't remember when I started it, it was that long ago! When it is finished i'm going to submit it for my Pet Portrait Diploma. Here it is so far:
