I specialise in hand drawn original pieces of artwork, commissioned from photographs. I produce realistic Pet Portraits in graphite, and coloured pencil, both mediums allowing me the control I need for the my style of work. I have dogs of my own and appreciate the special friendship a dog can give. It is my mission to portray each subject's unique character.
I have started my first Pet Portrait of 2008 this weekend. This 12" x 16" graphite portrait of a Westie was actually ordered before Christmas for completion in the New Year. So far I have just completed the outline:
