New Pet Portrait

This is the first step of my latest pet portrait. It is a coloured pencil portrait of a beautiful Golden Retriever, one of my favourite breeds. What might not be obvious from the drawing is the dog has got his paw on the side of a boat, looking out over the view of the Lake District. This coloured pencil portrait will also have a full background.
