I specialise in hand drawn original pieces of artwork, commissioned from photographs. I produce realistic Pet Portraits in graphite, and coloured pencil, both mediums allowing me the control I need for the my style of work. I have dogs of my own and appreciate the special friendship a dog can give. It is my mission to portray each subject's unique character.

I have just started another new portrait. This was donated for a charity auction and is a 12" x 16" graphite portrait of a working police dog, Quanto.

Here is the first stage of my latest Pet Portrait, a coloured pencil portrait of a very cute Jack Russel named Maddy. As you can see I have just done the outline so far, but will start working on the colour on Wednesday:
